Elis Ireland Proudly Sponsors the ‘Greening of Killarney’ for St. Patrick’s Festival 2025

Killarney, Co. Kerry – March 2025: Elis Ireland is delighted to announce its sponsorship of the annual Greening of Killarney, a key highlight of the St. Patrick’s Festival celebrations. This vibrant initiative sees Killarney’s most iconic landmarks illuminated in brilliant shades of green, creating a stunning spectacle that showcases the town’s rich heritage and community spirit.

Interim CEO Eoin Collins and Andrew Trigg recently met with Jason Clifford, Chairman of the Killarney St. Patrick’s Festival, and members of the organising team to witness the transformation firsthand. The initiative, aligns with efforts to promote sustainability and cultural pride while attracting visitors from Ireland and abroad  

This year, Ross Castle, St. Mary’s Cathedral, Killarney Courthouse, the Garda Station, and numerous local businesses have joined the movement, lighting up in green to mark the national celebration. 

The festival will feature a series of events, including:

• The St. Patrick’s Day Parade (March 17th) – A spectacular procession featuring floats, music, and community groups.
• Live Music and Cultural Performances – Showcasing local artists and traditional Irish dance.
