We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Manager to lead our Pest Control sales team within Ireland.
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a regional sales team, and ensuring the successful implementation of sales strategies and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the pest control industry, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading teams to success.

Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Lead and manage a regional sales team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve sales targets and objectives. Set clear sales goals and performance expectations for the team and monitor progress regularly.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion within the region. Identify new sales opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
- Financial Target Achievement: Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual financial targets as set by the Head of Pest Control. Monitor sales performance against targets and implement strategies to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop sales team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to help team members achieve their sales goals and professional development objectives.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the pest control industry. Identify and address customer needs and concerns to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Analyse sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to address sales challenges and optimize sales performance.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, competitive threats, and industry trends. Use insights to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts for the region. Monitor expenses and sales performance to ensure alignment with budgetary targets and objectives.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations. Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism in all sales activities and interactions.
Experience & Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in service supply sales management, preferably within the pest control industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, leading teams to success, and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Experience in pest control preferred. However full training will be given.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving sales growth and business success.
- This role will require regular travel within Ireland. Ability to travel and drive within the region as needed.
